We have been itching to convert our bedroom flooring from carpet to anything wood (laminate or hardwood), and we stalled on doing the task for months because we thought it was so daunting. I bought the wood from Home Depot for only less than $150 (glueless laminate) for the whole room. The wood just sat in the garage for months until we finally had the courage (more like motivation) to start (we needed to figure out childcare as well), and it took us only two days (without any previous experience). It looked so pretty and we can’t be happier with how it turned out.
